The candidate of hope and change, the one who wasn't going to conduct business as usual has been exposed for anything but the change his supporters bought into without doing any real research into the background of the candidate. Now safely tucked into the White House, President Obama does what all presidents have done in the past - he is rewarding his big dollar donors with ambassadorships.

The hypocrisy, back-tracking and flip-flopping of this administration is getting annoying. As a guy who doesn't have a tremendous amount of free time to devote here at America's Right, the constant presence of previously denounced plans becoming the proposal du jour and vice versa is a lot to keep up with. We've seen it with promises of transparency. We've seen it with promises of "not a single tax increase on the middle class." We've seen it with the detainee abuse photos, as well as the overall positions on Iraq and Afghanistan.

In this case, it's health care.

Republicans give up so damn easy at just about everything.

That’s surprising to me, because on the whole, Republicans I know tend to have a lot more money than my Democrat friends, so maybe they have more fortitude when it comes to spreadsheets than they do with front line action in the real world.

American Energy Act Will Preserve the Environment and the Economy

The American public is desperate for solutions, but a national energy tax is not the answer to address climate change. This week, House Republicans unveiled the American Energy Act—a better solution that offers more affordable energy, more good-paying jobs, more energy independence, and a cleaner environment.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that the cleanest way for utilities to control carbon emissions is to increase their supply of carbon-free nuclear energy. It is imperative that clean, safe nuclear power be at the forefront as we seek to solidify our nation’s energy supply and foster a new era of energy independence and reduced emissions. It defies reality that in the 1,000-page Waxman-Markey cap-and-tax bill focused on reducing emissions that nuclear, the source of 70 percent our nation’s emissions-free electricity, is only mentioned twice. We have got to get our priorities straight.
